Systems Engineer II - Medical Devices

SYSTEMS ENGINEER II

SUMMARY:

Consultant needed to provide systems engineering support for a thriving medical device innovator.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership and oversight for cross-functional teams focused on product development and all aspects of Quality Systems, including change control, design control, validation, documentation, etc.

Vendor and third-party communications and collaboration

Test planning, development, execution, analysis and documentation

Support design verification, process improvement, project and resource planning and management, and other related functions, as required

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

3 years of relevant product production experience and related design control, including solid product and document control experience in the medical device industry.

Experience and understanding of systems engineering strategy, test method development and execution, development, review and approval of technical and engineering drawings, and related functions

Experience with product development and production lab equipment tools and equipment (chemical, mechanical and electronic)

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including ability to explain technical issues and challenges to non-engineers

Relevant Engineering BS degree

SolidWorks experience preferred
