Civil Engineer

Our client is looking for a Civil Engineer to join our team and contribute to innovative environmental projects. A leading environmental consulting and engineering firm specializing in groundwater remediation, environmental compliance, and sustainable solutions. The selected candidate will report to the Vice President of Engineering and may be assigned junior or mid-level staff with time.

Location: NJ or PA, can be based out of either office

Responsibilities:

Design and oversee civil engineering projects related to groundwater remediation and environmental infrastructure.

Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and environmental impact analyses.

Develop engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for environmental projects.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including geologists, environmental scientists, and regulatory agencies.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.

Provide technical support for construction and remediation activities.

Perform hydrological modeling and groundwater flow analysis.

Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

15+ years of industry experience with 5+ years of experience generating leads, creating proposals, conducting sales presentations, meeting sales goals, and directing project work execution for civil engineering projects.

Proven record of accomplishments with client development, revenue generation, project implementation as well as have established industry and regulatory contacts.

Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and groundwater remediation techniques.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, and hydrological modeling software.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Willingness to travel as needed to support business needs including industry trade shows, events, and technical meetings locally and nationally.

Must work in a collaborative environment with other business development, sector, program, and operational leaders.

Team Player mentality is essential.
