Role Overview:
We are seeking a visionary, hands-on Engineering Head to lead the technology and engineering
charter for our Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) vertical. This role will drive innovation,
scalable architecture, and agile delivery across the spectrum of client engagements, product
builds, and platform solutions—anchored in AI, cloud, data, and digital engineering.
You will be at the forefront of reimagining TMT industry capabilities using agentic AI, modern
software engineering, and data-native architectures, ensuring clients are not just transformed
but continuously transforming.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Engineering Leadership
• Define and own the engineering vision for TMT clients across telecom, media
streaming, and tech product segments.
• Shape next-gen offerings in network intelligence, hyper-personalized content, 5G edge
AI, content moderation at scale, and autonomous operations.
Client-Facing Innovation & Delivery
• Translate client business priorities into scalable architectures and tech strategies.
• Lead complex transformation engagements involving AI/ML, cloud-native systems,
low-latency platforms, and real-time personalization engines.
• Act as a technology advisor and engineering partner to CXOs and CTOs.
Platform & Product Engineering
• Spearhead the development of proprietary platforms, accelerators, and solutions
tailored for the TMT space.
• Apply modern engineering paradigms: microservices, event-driven design, CI/CD,
DevSecOps, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Drive adoption of agentic systems to autonomously orchestrate media workflows,
telco operations, and customer journeys.
Talent Leadership & Engineering Culture
• Hire, mentor, and inspire high-performance engineering talent with deep TMT domain
know-how.
• Foster a “fail-fast, build-fast” culture leveraging experimentation, hackathons, and
rapid prototyping.
• Scale teams across geographies with engineering rigor and cultural cohesion.
Qualifications & Experience:
• 20+ years of experience in technology or engineering leadership roles, with significant
exposure to TMT sectors.
• Proven delivery experience across AI/ML, streaming architectures, cloud-native
platforms, edge computing, or telco BSS/OSS systems.
• Deep understanding of agile engineering, full-stack systems, and AI integration.
• Strong client leadership experience—ideally in consulting, product engineering, or
digital services firms.
• Experience in working with agentic systems, LLMOps, or AI-first platforms is a plus.
Nice to Have:
• Prior experience in a hyperscaler, media-tech product company, or telecom network
analytics space.
• Exposure to digital twin models, network planning AI, ad tech systems, or content
recommendation engines.
Pay:
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in
making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training;
licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range
estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the
location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be
hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent
on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:
$250,000 - $300,000. In addition, for the current performance period, you may be eligible for a
discretionary bonus.

As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours
per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and

addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of
employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms. The Company provides for 11
paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave. We also follow a “free time” PTO policy,
allowing you the flexibility to take time needed for either sick time or vacation.
