Mechanical Engineer

Hiring Opportunity: Columbus OH

Our client is looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer to join their team here in Columbus! Our client has over 50 years of experience solving air pollution control problems for a large variety of industrial sources, including furnaces, boilers, incinerators, kilns, and dryers.

The mechanical engineer will be working to help design different mechanical designs to include fans, dampers, ductwork, pumps, valves, and piping.

Qualified individuals will need to have at least 4 years of experience with Mechanical Design related to fans, dampers, ductwork, pumps, values, or piping.

Responsibilities:

- Design and implement mechanical systems related to fans, dampers, ductwork, pumps, valves, and piping.

Plan and execute work to meet projects" schedules, technical, and budget requirements.

- Coordinate design work with other engineering disciplines - mechanical and electrical.

- Develop equipment layouts.

- Produce engineering calculations and sketches

- Check and Approve all drawings prior to release/issuance.

- Respond to RFIs from fabricators and contractors.

- Participate in internal and external meetings, design reviews, etc.

Qualifications:

- 4+ years of experience with Mechanical Design

- Conceptual skills.

- Planning.

- Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering
