Summary:
The Program manager's responsibilities include program management, cost estimating to support customer success, business development, and manufacturing efficiency in a rubber production environment. The Program Manager leads customer programs from RFQ through launch and coordinates cost analysis and quotations for new business that align with operational and financial goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Program Management:
• Lead customer programs from concept through production launch, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and specifications
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments (engineering, production, quality, and purchasing)
• Develop project schedules, manage risk, and facilitate cross-functional meetings to track milestones and resolve issues
• Support APQP, PPAP, and validation processes for new product development
Quoting & Cost Estimation:
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to prepare cost estimates and quotes for new and existing business opportunities
• Analyze historical costs, material pricing trends, and labor rates to support accurate quoting
• Update and maintain quoting databases, pricing sheets, and BOMs (Bill of Materials)
• Provide timely responses to RFQs (Requests for Quotation) from customers
Cross-Functional Support:
• Work with Engineering and Quality teams on material approvals and supplier changes
• Support cost-down initiatives, VA/VE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering), and continuous improvement projects
• Participate in audits and support compliance with IATF 16949.
Qualification Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in program management.
• Knowledge of rubber materials and manufacturing processes (e.g., compression, injection molding, extrusion)
• Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., Plex, SAP), quoting tools, and project management software
• Familiarity with IATF 16949
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• PMP certification or Six Sigma training is a plus

Compensation: $61,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
