Our client in Amsterdam, NY is expanding its manufacturing operations and investing in new production capabilities. To support this growth, we're looking for a Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer to play a pivotal role in optimizing processes, enhancing quality, and driving efficiency across our operations.

What You'll Do & Why It Matters
Be the Lean Champion: Lead and coach cross-functional teams to implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (Kaizen, SMED, Value Stream Mapping, etc.), driving waste reduction and efficiency.
Own Process Optimization: Identify and execute initiatives that reduce scrap, improve throughput, and standardize best practices-helping Mohawk Lifts scale its production operations.
Develop & Train Teams: Design and execute training programs that empower employees with the skills to sustain continuous improvement efforts.
Lead Key Projects: Spearhead capital projects involving new equipment, facility upgrades, and advanced manufacturing technologies.

What We're Looking For:
Experience: 5+ years in a manufacturing engineering role with a strong focus on continuous improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred.
Skills & Mindset:
Proven experience leading CI projects in a manufacturing setting.
A data-driven problem solver who thrives in a hands-on, high-energy environment.
Strong ability to coach teams, develop SOPs, and drive lasting cultural change.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; PLC programming and electrical knowledge a plus. What We're offering:
