Simulation Engineer

Akkodis is proud to partner with a global automotive manufacturer for an exciting opportunity in the Detroit Metropolitan Area who is currently accepting applications for an Simulation Engineer. This is a contractual position offering the flexibility of a hybrid schedule.

As a Simulation Engineer you will play a critical role in supporting assembly processes for future product lines.

Pay/Salary: $45/hour - $50/hour (W2) - The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

The Simulation Engineer will be responsible for:

Conducting Simulations of plant flow (determine throughput)

Make modifications to existing simulations

Presentation during calls

All of duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications:

3+ Years experience (Automotive Domain)

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Manufacturing or Similar

Simulation Experience including making modifications/changes

MS Excel and PowerPoint

Experience with Simul8 (Simulation Software) or experience with Plant Sim We are open to working with candidates who are eligible to work in the US without sponsorhip.
