Software Engineer

JPMorgan Chase & Co. has an opening for a Software Engineer in New York, New York. DUTIES: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, IT Engineer, Computer Programmer, or related occupation. This position requires experience with the following: Agile SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines; Spring; Java; SQL; Maven; GIT; Junit; Unit Testing; Building and maintaining REST API-based microservices using the Photon framework; Maintaining automated Jules builds and deployment scripts; Writing and maintaining contract tests for microservices; Writing and maintaining acceptance tests for microservices; Writing and maintaining component tests for microservices; Writing and maintaining integration tests for microservices; Cloud Foundry; Writing Salesforce screen flows and Lightning Web Components using Apex; Creating Salesforce common packages; Batch extraction using Python Spark; Deploying and updating AWS tech stacks using Terraform; Deploying and updating AWS tech stacks using Spinnaker; Deploying and running microservices in AWS ECS.
