We are looking for an experienced Assistant Controller to oversee financial operations and reporting for our client's local division. This role requires a strategic thinker who can ensure compliance with financial regulations, manage budgets effectively, and collaborate with leadership teams to drive business success. Responsibilities:
• Lead the preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Develop and oversee budgets and forecasts to support the division’s financial planning.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify patterns, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies and internal financial controls.
• Work closely with operations and executive teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.
• Supervise and mentor accounting and finance staff to enhance team performance and expertise.
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes efficiently.
• Utilize accounting software systems, such as Epicor and ADP, to optimize financial operations.
• Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis, including annual budget preparation.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems, such as Epicor and ADP.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards and compliance.
• Expertise in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
• Familiarity with financial services tools such as 3M.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop accounting and finance teams.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify financial trends and opportunities.
• Solid understanding of financial controls and regulations.
