Job Description

The CNC Manufacturing Engineer's Responsibilities Include:

Evaluate product designs for manufacturability, tolerance adherence, quality compliance, and cost efficiency

Identify and design or procure fixtures and gauges needed for new components

Create detailed manufacturing documents, including setup sheets, sketches, and shop floor instructions

Program CNC machines, troubleshoot startup challenges, and fine-tune cutting parameters to maximize efficiency and tool longevity

Diagnose and resolve machinery and process issues alongside shop floor staff and engineering teams

Operate CNC lathes, machining centers, and various manufacturing equipment hands-on

Work collaboratively with engineering, quality assurance, supervision, and operations to enhance productivity and product quality

Engage in root cause analysis and drive corrective actions to address quality concerns

The Successful Applicant

Ideal CNC Manufacturing Engineer:

Associate's degree or equivalent education

Proficiency with CAD/CAM software for drawing, design, and dimensioning

Over 5 years of CNC machining experience, preferably with turning and milling

Experience with MRP/ERP systems is an advantage

Strong understanding of machine shop operations and practices What's on Offer
