Job Title: Senior Business Analyst – Compliance Training
Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid 2 Days a Week)
Rate: $60–$70/hour
Engagement Type: 3-month Contract (Possibility of Extension)
Position Overview
Our client in the utilities industry is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a strong compliance background to support the planning, customization, and deployment of corporate ethics training. This temporary role will serve as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and a third-party training vendor, ensuring that ethics and compliance materials are effectively integrated into Workday. The ideal candidate will bring experience managing compliance programs, a hands-on approach to training delivery systems, and the ability to manage cross-functional coordination and testing activities.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the point of contact for ethics training initiatives and compliance-related learning programs.
Coordinate with a third-party vendor to customize training content and delivery schedules.
Oversee the end-to-end deployment of ethics training in Workday, including configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and launch.
Partner with internal compliance, HR, and IT teams to ensure alignment with organizational policies and technical requirements.
Track and report on training completion, participation metrics, and audit readiness.
Provide subject matter expertise on compliance standards and training best practices.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a specific focus on compliance, training, or ethics programs.
Demonstrated experience managing or supporting training implementation, especially using platforms like Workday.
Strong understanding of corporate ethics, compliance frameworks, and employee learning initiatives.
Excellent vendor coordination and stakeholder communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in testing and validating systems or content prior to launch.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Compliance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in the utilities or regulated industries.
Prior involvement in the design or customization of ethics or compliance training modules.
Familiarity with Workday Learning or similar LMS systems.
