The Technology & Operational Risk department within the Multifamily (MF) division is seeking a Senior Director to lead its Technology Infrastructure and Operations. This critical role is responsible for overseeing the Multifamily Division's IT infrastructure and operations, ensuring systems are scalable, reliable, and secure. This role involves management of support services, integration of DevOps practices, oversight of environment management, and leadership of the Testing Center of Excellence. Your Impact:
Infrastructure Management: Plan, implement, and maintain a robust IT infrastructure aligned with Freddie Mac Enterprise Operations & Technology (EO&T) roadmaps and budget, ensuring system stability, high availability, and performance of our systems & applications. Oversee EO&T initiatives, upgrades, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
Help Desk Oversight: Manage Multifamily support services (Level 3) to guarantee efficient resolution of system & application issues and outages, enhancing internal & external user satisfaction.
DevOps Implementation: Lead the organization's transition to DevOps methodologies, promoting automation and continuous integration & deployment processes.
Environment Management: Ensure effective management of development, testing, and production environments/infrastructure to support rapid application delivery and ensure optimal performance.
Cyber Risk Management: Partner with Freddie Mac EO&T to develop strategies and implement measures to mitigate cyber threats and protect data integrity. Administer customer on-boarding, access management, compliance, and audit support.
Resiliency and Risk Management: Establish processes and perform testing for business continuity and disaster recovery, ensuring operational technology resiliency and risk mitigation.
Business Operations and Business Rules Management: Drive resolution of internal and external user issues, management of business rules, and execution of system administration functions and workarounds to enable business transactions.
Enterprise Engagement & Portfolio Management: Collaborate with Enterprise partners in planning, prioritizing, and executing enterprise initiatives across security, infrastructure, and sustainability efforts.
Centralized Testing Excellence: Lead centralized testing operations including best practices for functional testing, testing automation, regression testing, and performance testing, ensuring consistency and thoroughness in testing protocols.
Qualifications:
Industry Experience: Proven experience in IT infrastructure management and operations, preferably with 15+ years in a leadership role. Strong background in DevOps practices, including experience with tools and methodologies. Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices. Experience designing and managing business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading large teams and cross-functional functions. Experience with proactively driving and executing strategic initiatives that align with the company’s goals.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex data, market trends, and operational challenges to make informed, strategic decisions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting to Freddie Mac leadership.
Exceptional Organizational Abilities: Strong organizational and time management skills, consistently delivering high quality and accuracy in challenging environments while effectively leading multiple projects.
Agility in High-Paced, Dynamic Environment: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-pasted setting, adapting quickly to shifting priorities and evolving business needs. Skilled in maintaining focus and delivering results under tight timelines while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $232,000 - $348,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
