Columbus State Community College is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable Non-Credit Instructor to deliver hands-on, industry-informed training to prepare students for high-demand careers in Advanced Manufacturing. Youll teach real-world skills through a hybrid course format that emphasizes safety, precision, regulatory compliance, and career readiness.

What Youll Do

Lead engaging instruction in:

Core manufacturing concepts, including cleanroom operations

Safety protocols and precision measurement techniques

Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)

Upstream/downstream processes, quality control, and process monitoring

Electro-mechanical systems, motor controls, AC/DC systems, and PLCs (if applicable)

Collaborate closely with lab instructors and team members to ensure a seamless student experience.

Maintain and update course materials to ensure content stays aligned with evolving industry needs.

Support students with feedback, performance tracking, and connections to academic resources.

What Were Looking For

Bachelors or Masters degree

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment

Strong communication and mentorship skills

Reliable transportation and/or valid drivers license for site visits (as needed)

Additional Details

Time Commitment: As needed or up to approximately 20 hours per week

Application Requirements: Unofficial transcripts required at the time of application

Employment Type: adhoc, Part-time, non-credit instructor

Compensation details: 60-60 Hourly Wage
