AEM Cloud DevOps Engineer - AEM 6.5

Essential Experience

Must have: AEM 6.5 & Azure DevOps expertise

Must have Adobe Experience Manager DevOps experience with at least 5 years of experience in supporting/ administrating AEM application/environments.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Azure and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.5. This role is hands-on and focuses on automating AEM operational tasks and infrastructure activities. We are not looking for traditional maintenance/BAU profiles but someone who can develop and implement automation to reduce manual effort in AEM application operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps specifically for AEM 6.5.

Automate content synchronization, content ingestion, and other operational tasks.

Develop scripts and automation for infrastructure activities such as:

o Snapshot creation

o Content migration

o Provisioning new AEM servers (e.g., using AMIs and automation scripts).

Implement Dockerization of AEM servers and manage Kubernetes clustering for AEM.

Hands-on management and automation of:

o AEM Dispatchers

o Authors and Publishers

o Regular server maintenance activities.

Work with AEM 6.5 DitA Guides and related configurations.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps—ability to apply it effectively for AEM 6.5 automation.

Deep technical knowledge of AEM 6.5, especially in operational automation.

Experience with:

o Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)

o Containers (Docker)

o Kubernetes

Proven ability to reduce toil and manual work by building robust automation solutions for AEM operational tasks.

Solid understanding of server maintenance from a DevOps/automation perspective (not just BAU support).

Beneficial to Have:

Experience with Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) and optimizing AEM for high-availability deployments.

Familiarity with monitoring and alerting best practices in alerting Azure for AEM environments
