Women's Health is looking for an Associate Style & Commerce Editor to join our growing e-commerce team. This person will pitch, write, and produce shoppable fashion content that speaks to our active, wellness-focused audience. If you can talk compression fabrics, squat-proof leggings, and heel-to-toe drops in walking shoes-this is the job for you.
Responsibilities
Pitch and produce high-performing shopping stories across key fashion beats, including activewear, performance footwear, underwear, and comfort-driven fashion
Support Women's Health's tentpole shopping initiatives, including Prime Day, Black Friday/Cyber Monday, and seasonal sales roundups
Collaborate with the visuals and commerce teams to produce monthly e-commerce photo shoots-calling in products and ensuring all samples are properly tracked
Stay on top of emerging fashion trends, viral activewear launches, and new brands our readers should know
Help optimize existing shopping content through thoughtful updates and product swaps based on performance and inventory
Contribute to cross-brand commerce projects as needed
Qualifications
1-2+ years of editorial experience, ideally in fashion, lifestyle, or wellness media
A strong interest in fitness, wellness, and fashion-and an intuitive sense of what active women are excited to wear and buy
Excellent writing and research skills with the ability to package commerce stories in a compelling, service-forward voice
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities-you can pivot quickly and keep momentum going
Highly organized with strong attention to detail when managing samples, product trackers, and deadlines
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, fashion, or a related field
The base salary for this role is $64,000-$67,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
This position is based in the NYC office a minimum of 3 days a week. No remote option.
This is a position covered under the Writers Guild of America, East, Collective Bargaining Agreement.
