About This Role:

Work schedule: Full Time; Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm EST (Required to work a late evening on the last business day of the month)

Training schedule: 2 weeks; Monday - Friday 9:30am - 6pm EST

Works within multiple databases to load data, run queries and perform reporting

Retrieves data from third party billing servicers

What You'll Do:

Reviews and processes high volumes of client and customer payments received through various channels, including check, wire transfer, and electronic funds.

Verifies accuracy of batch information and resolves discrepancies in a timely manner

Posts payments to client websites correctly

Uploads payments into internal systems accurately and efficiently

Verifies that the applied transactions reconcile to the client/customer provided total

Ensures payment, adjustment and denial transactions are accurately posted and reconciled according to department and company specifications and in compliance with regulatory requirement

Collaborates with other departments to ensure payments are processed according to clients' requirements

Meets productivity and quality measures set by leadership

What You'll Need

To be successful, you'll need:

Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, and Word

Strong 10-key and typing skills

Strong reconciliation and analytical abilities, data entry skills with ability to process transactions accurately

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to work independently

Flexibility to adapt well to change

Positive attitude and team-oriented approach

Effective organizational and time-management skills

Demonstrated ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor

Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict deadlines

Prolonged sitting at a computer workstation

High School Diploma or GED required
