Software Engineering Senior Advisor (0251382)

Build components of software platforms and collaborate with Application Development teams regarding design patterns, best practices, approved technologies, tools, and solutions. Build technology platforms that are modern, scalable, and highly available. Design application components to fit within the solution architecture. Plan, drive, and deliver innovative reusable software solutions. The role requires extensive hands-on development in Claims application and have business knowledge with end-to-end claim processing including adjudication and pricing. The role also requires to build re-usable work flows using PEGA that can be leverage for multiple areas. Should have the knowledge on implementing PEGA apps into cloud infrastructure. Work with vendor products and build integration design with claim application. Hybrid work schedule.

Five years of experience in software development/engineering or a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in information technology, computers, or engineering plus three years of experience in software development/engineering. Must have experience with: Pega PRPC; Java, COBOL; AWS, HTML, XML, CSS, EDI, JSON; MySQL, AWS Aurora, Postgres, Oracle, DB2, IMS; Apache TOMCAT, AWS Server and Serverless; Windows, Linux, and Mainframe Z/OS; Splunk, Dynatrace, Eclipse, Jira, Rally, CA Agile Central, and Service NOW; IBM Mainframes; JCL, CICS, SQL, MS SQL Server; Agile and Waterfall; Use Cases and Data Flow Diagrams; Crystal Reports; MS Excel, Visio, Endevor, Trizetto Facets, Sybase, ClaimCheck, and ClaimsXten.

Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in information technology, computers, or engineering
