The Director of Ambulatory Transformation reports directly to the Executive Director of Ambulatory Services and collaborates in the development of the strategic and operational roadmap of Ambulatory Transformation. The Director manages the challenge of constant and fast-paced organizational change impacting all aspects of Ambulatory Services, using best practice methodologies to ensure the delivery of the highest level of innovative, safe and effective health care. The Director is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the transformation initiative, developing measures and monitoring compliance while challenging team members to engage with and sustain constant improvement in the Ambulatory space. The leader ensures that the operational, personnel and process improvements are executed in keeping with the transformation framework, overseeing and reporting progress while offering course corrections to ensure outcomes are achieved.
Minimum Education
Master's Degree Preferred education discipline in healthcare, business or nursing management. (Required)
Minimum Work Experience
5 years • 5-7 years of recent healthcare administration and/or change management experience.
• Data management experience, proficient to expert use of excel
• Experienced in Lean-based transformation and other performance improvement methods.
• Experience with major change initiatives.

Works effectively with Hospital leadership, and team members to innovate, communicate and implement novel ambulatory processes and best practices in keeping with the mission and core values of CNH.
Works closed with key stakeholders from Divisions, Nursing, IT services, representatives of the community and Pediatric Health Network to ensure a seamless delivery of service across the care continuum by leveraging improvements in communication, information technology and process improvement.
Directs and coordinates the process of transformation ensuring effective communication and collaboration between Ambulatory Transformation team members from Quality/Safety, Patient Experience, IT, Access and Revenue Cycle.
Program Administration
Identifies new improvement opportunities and manages all aspects of transformative changes in the ambulatory setting.
Drawing on pertinent literature, business and healthcare transformation resources as well as personal experience, identifies opportunities for improvement and develops and impalements innovative solutions.
Utilize data and in collaboration with Ambulatory Leadership, defines new metrics to drive improvement in ambulatory transformation
