REQUIREMENT:

Senior Oracle DBA (Database Administrator)

Utah (Remote)

Need Overall 12+Years of experience

3 References from the recent projects is must.

Minimum Qualifications:

"Multiple years of production experience in DBA work

Minimum: 8+ years of production DBA experience

Preferred: 10+ years if focused on Oracle, with exposure to MS SQL and MySQL"

Ability to work remotely and comply with University VPN/security policies

autonomous handling of high-complexity systems (e.g., Exadata, HA/DR, containerized DBs)

Availability for extended hours, potentially including 24/7 coverage

Must be dedicated and named in proposal submission

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree

Experience in academic/medical institution environments

Certifications in Oracle, MS SQL, or MySQL platforms

Ability to mentor/train university staff via screen share and recordings

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Specific Skills:

Oracle DB (including Exadata, Oracle Data Guard, Multi-Tenant Architecture)

MS SQL Server (Availability Groups, VMware deployment)

MySQL (Replication, tuning, backup/restore, etc.)

Monitoring, performance tuning, DR, security/encryption, and patching

High availability setups (HA/DR)

Supporting **cloud, containers, hybrid infra** (Docker/Kubernetes optional)

Ability to log/document work, audit trails, playback
