IT Support Specialist Responsibilities

Maintain Information Technology helpdesk for all entities/locations

Troubleshoot software or hardware issues for users

Enhance and develop technology skills of existing and new staff

Assist in ordering and setting up new computers

Maintain the nursing call system for all entities/locations

Work with consultants and contracted service providers as needed

Maintain phone system, televisions, building security/monitoring systems, and other technology system end devices as required

Qualifications

IT Support Specialist Qualifications

Two-year equivalent post-secondary education in computer related field

Two years experience in related computer environment

Computer proficiency in areas of Microsoft Office 365\Office Suite\Microsoft Server, SharePoint and VMWare

Moderate knowledge of TCPIP networking including VLANs, Firewalls, etc. preferred

Moderate knowledge of phones preferred

Strong troubleshooting, organizational and problem solving skills

Excellent customer service skills

Must have a current, valid Driver’s License with no driving violations within the standards of Good Shepherd’s insurability programs
