Job Title: Painter â Paint Line

Shift: 1st Shift 6:00 AM â 2:30 PM

Pay: $20/hour

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Painter to join our Paint Line team on 1st shift. This role involves a variety of production tasks including loading and unloading materials, monitoring machinery, and ensuring products meet quality and packaging standards. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure quality products are being produced and meet customer expectations

Follow shop orders and packaging specifications carefully

Label materials accurately using computer systems

Load and unload parts and hangers on the powder coat paint line (requires repetitive reaching and motion)

Accurately complete SIP, scrap, and production reports as required

Keep work area clean and organized to maintain safety

Rotate through painter positions on an hourly basis with the team

Report any processing or equipment issues to the Supervisor, Group Lead, or Quality personnel

Operate air tools and other equipment as needed

Follow all company safety policies and housekeeping rules

Perform additional duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Previous experience in a painting or powder coat environment is helpful

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods

Must be comfortable with repetitive tasks and physical activity, including reaching above shoulder height

Basic computer skills for creating labels and entering data

Work Environment

Climate-controlled paint room

Fast-paced, team-driven production setting

Rotating painter schedule (4-person rotation)
