Video Editor (Construction Industry Experience) - Part Time

Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Video Editor with proven experience in the construction industry to produce high-quality, engaging video content. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and capable of transforming raw construction footage into compelling videos that showcase our projects, processes, and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and assemble raw video footage from construction sites into polished videos

Create promotional, educational, and documentation-style videos

Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, and background music as needed

Collaborate with project managers, marketing, and engineering teams to align video content with branding and project goals

Maintain a consistent visual style and brand tone across all video assets

Organize and manage video files and project archives

Ensure timely delivery of edited content under tight deadlines

Requirements:

Proven experience in video editing, preferably within the construction or real estate industry

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar

Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and video composition

Ability to work with drone footage, time-lapse sequences, and site walk-throughs

Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in capturing construction-related content

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Portfolio or samples of previous construction-related video work required

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in basic animation or motion graphics

Background in videography or content planning

Knowledge of social media video formats and marketing content strategy
