Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Senior Full Stack Engineer - Blockchain - this is a fully-remote role and candidates can be based in US/Canada.

We are a VC-backed on-chain financial infrastructure company on a mission to upgrade global financial markets through 24/7 instant settlement. We're building the next generation of financial rails by bridging traditional finance (TradFi) and decentralised finance (DeFi) in a transparent, efficient, and highly scalable way.

Our first product is Multiliquid — an institutional-grade smart contract protocol that enables deep interoperability and liquidity across tokenised financial assets and stablecoins. As the flagship product, Multiliquid sets the foundation for our broader vision: replatforming the entire financial system on 10x better infrastructure, powered by blockchain.

We’re currently raising a $4M seed round to expand the team and scale the next phase of growth.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join our core engineering team. In this hands-on role, you’ll build and scale both front-end and back-end systems to facilitate access to and usability of the Multiliquid protocol. You’ll develop our API, user-facing applications, integrate with smart contract infrastructure, and ensure seamless, secure interaction between a wide variety of users, applications and blockchain-based systems. This is an opportunity to help shape the digital interface of institutional DeFi, building products that abstract away complexity and deliver intuitive usability and scalable experiences to our users.

You will work on a small, rigorously selected, senior team of engineers. You will be responsible for collaborating closely with product, compliance, and business stakeholders. This is a high-impact role requiring deep technical expertise, vision, strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering best-in-class DeFi solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development

Build and maintain web applications that interact with smart contracts and blockchain infrastructure.

Design intuitive, performant UIs and integrate them with secure, efficient back-end services.

Develop APIs, data models, and business logic that support institutional-grade use cases.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate closely with blockchain engineers and product stakeholders to translate protocol logic into usable interfaces and tools.

Participate in design sessions, sprint planning, and code reviews to align execution with vision.

Scalability & Reliability

Optimize web applications for performance, availability, and responsiveness under heavy institutional traffic.

Ensure seamless, low-latency interaction between front-end systems and onchain

protocols.

Contribute to a scalable, secure back-end infrastructure supporting liquidity flows across chains.

Security & Compliance

Implement robust authentication and access control for institutional-grade users.

Follow security best practices for data protection and transaction integrity across the stack.

Proactively identify and address vulnerabilities and edge cases in both UI and API

layers.

Hands-On Engineering

Actively write and deploy code across front-end and back-end systems.

Lead the development of core features, dashboards, and admin tools for managing

external-facing and internal workflows.

Prototype, build, test, iterate and troubleshoot rapidly in a fast-moving environment.

Required Qualifications

Experience

5+years of experience building production-ready full-stack applications.

Strong proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (React preferred; Vue or Angular

also welcome).

Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Express, Python, or similar.

Familiarity with blockchain integrations (e.g., web3.js, ethers.js) is a major plus.

Technical Skills

Proficiency with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and smart contract integrations.

Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.

Solid knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.

Soft Skills
