Credit & Collections Team Lead

Location\: Ankeny, IA

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Credit & Collections Team Lead to join our team! The Credit & Collections Team Lead is responsible for the investigations and analysis of credit information, working within established guidelines. This position works under general supervision, reporting to a Collections Supervisor.

What you will be doing:

Training new employees and providing support to all employees, as needed

Coaching, including both constructive and positive feedback in a tactful, firm manner

Ability to prioritize, make credit release decisions following procedures as stated in The Linde Way, handle escalation calls with difficult customers and bring to a resolution that acknowledges customer needs yet serves Linde’s best interests

Resolves moderately complex credit problems but may request assistance on highly sensitive accounts

Make some decisions regarding credit extension within predetermined guidelines

Contacts customers regarding delinquent payments and assists in the collection of past due accounts

Assists Supervisor in the coaching and development of Collectors

Work independently with minimal supervision

Partner with Collections Supervisor to increase team efficiency and productivity
