Position Title: Full-time Accountant

Annual Salary: AUD $77,000 + Superannuation

Introduction:

Ringwood Property Services in Melbourne, Victoria is a growing and dynamic organisation dedicated to delivering excellence in Janitorial and Cleaning services Industry and property maintenance. We are currently contemplating on diversifying our operations by branching out into allied health services that encompasses a wide range of patient care. We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team and support financial operations to head this division.

Duties:

• Preparation of annual financial reports including the profit and loss statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.

• Responsible for financial reporting and analysis on portfolios forecast and actual financial performance.

• Prepare and lodge BAS and payments as well as reconciliation of GST outgoings and incomings.

• Monitor bookkeeping, assets management and budget project costing.

• Prepare month end report, manage accounts receivable/ payable.

• Review the financial statements.

• Develop, implement, and keep updated all financial policies and procedures including internal control procedures.

• Project costing and capital asset evaluation.

• Formulate organisational budgetary and accounting policies.

• Ensure the statements and records comply with laws and regulations.

• Analyse and report company income and expenditure.

• Providing assurance about the accuracy of the information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirement.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum master’s degree in accounting or finance.

• A minimum of 2 year of relevant experience in the industry is mandatory.

• Prior experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team with healthcare providers.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with verbal and written communication skills.
