BlueHalo, an AV Company is seeking a Sr. Contracts Administrator to become a part of a diverse corporate contracts team supporting BlueHalo, an AV Company. The Sr. Contracts Administrator will provide support through every aspect of the contract lifecycle and act as a valued team member to program management, business development and customers across BlueHalo, an AV Company. This position will be embedded in a mission focused operations group and responsible for supporting business development and program teams in proposal activity, as well as providing contract management and administrative support for multiple commercial/non-commercial, prime contracts/subcontracts within various divisions. The Sr. Contracts Administrator must be a team player with the ability to thrive in a cross-functional organization and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

The Sr. Contracts Administrator responsibilities include:

Perform contract management and administrative duties throughout the contract lifecycle including, but not limited to, proposal review and preparation, leading pre and post award negotiations, executing contract modifications, initiating contract close-outs and providing overall program support for complex, multi-year contracts

Support other Contracts professionals in contract administration activities such as monitoring contract performance milestones and deliverables, performing invoice reviews, maintaining customer correspondence and evaluating/supporting contract baseline change management activities

Provide guidance and advise to management on contractual rights, obligations and provide contract interpretation of terms and conditions to program management/business leaders identifying risks and providing risk mitigation strategies

Proactively engage with program teams and customers to ensure that programs are executing to contract requirements, managing scope, and mitigating risks throughout contract execution

Ensure that terms and conditions comply with all contract requirements, internal policies and all Federal, State and applicable laws.

Maintain consistent and organized files for programs

Responsible for ensuring that agreements/terms and conditions comply with all applicable regulations and requirements, while also adhering to company policies.

Competencies

Proven Contract Drafting and Negotiation skills.

Strong Interpersonal, Written & Verbal Communication Skills.

Proficient use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, Outlook)

FAR/DFAR knowledge; OTA knowledge, working knowledge of US Government acquisition laws and regulations

Broad experience with a variety of contract types: firm fixed price, cost-type, commercial/non-commercial, production, development, license, non-disclosure and teaming agreements

Qualifications

BS/BA in Business or related discipline such as Finance, Supply Chain, or Accounting OR a minimum of 4 years of experience with customer/sales contract management and administration.

Experience working directly with customers such as DoD and DOE, including but not limited to Air Force, Army, DARPA, Navy, Sandia National Laboratory, LLNL.

Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Preferred Education and Experience

SECRET or higher clearance

Federal Contract Manager (CFCM) certified

Experience with accounting systems such as Unanet

Travel

Less than 25% travel required to BlueHalo, an AV Company or Customer facilities

Salary Range: $100-$115k

The BlueHalo, an AV Company pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several factors including, but not limited to, level of position, job responsibilities, geographic location, scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, alignment with local internal equity as well as alignment with market data.
