Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Clinical Laboratory Administrative Specialist. This role is vital to the smooth operation of our laboratory, bridging the gap between laboratory testing, client services, and billing operations.

Key Responsibilities
Specimen Processor/Specimen Accessioning: Accurately enter patient information, demographics, ordering physician details, and lab tests into our Laboratory Information System (LIS) with zero errors. Must have at least one year experience and understanding of lab test and sample types required.
Documentation Management: Organize and verify paperwork, including insurance information, physician orders, and other required documents.
Client Communications:
Monitor and respond to client services emails and faxes professionally and promptly.
Craft clear, well-written email responses and manage incoming calls professionally.
Billing Coordination: Collaborate with the billing team to ensure all required documents are in place for efficient insurance processing.
Process Improvement: Observe workflows and suggest enhancements to improve efficiency.
Technology Proficiency:
Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Teams) to organize, track, and manage information.
Learn and adapt quickly to new processes and software.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively with lab technologists, phlebotomists, billing staff, and administrative teams.
Laboratory Assistance: Learn and perform basic laboratory assistant duties as needed.
Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Teams.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
