Job Description

As a Platform Capability Engineering Intern at ATPCO, you will be part of a high-impact team focused on evolving internal developer platforms and configuration management solutions. You’ll collaborate with engineers and platform managers to enhance automation, tooling, and documentation across our platform ecosystem, contributing to real-world solutions in a hybrid working environment.

You will:

Assist in developing automation scripts for configuration management and developer productivity tools

Analyze platform engineering data and generate insights using Python or Java

Participate in the development of Java-based utilities for managing APIs, tools, and internal systems

Design and document internal libraries using OOP principles

Contribute to internal dashboards or metrics collection tools

Help maintain and update documentation for platform engineering workflows and systems

The Ideal Candidate:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

Familiar with Python and Java, with projects involving object-oriented programming, file handling, and algorithmic logic

Hands-on experience with Java Collections, inheritance, and class design through coursework or projects

Experience with data processing, exception handling, and file I/O

Comfortable working with productivity tools such as Google Docs, Microsoft Office Suite, and ArcGIS

Strong communicator and team collaborator with demonstrated initiative through club participation and academic projects

Must be local and able to commute to the office at least 2 days per week
