Business Analyst

Job Description

Connsci is seeking a Business Analyst to join our Identity Credentialing & Access Management (ICAM) team on one of our large federal programs. This individual will be responsible for translating complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements. This role involves extensive collaboration with technical teams, stakeholders, and end-users to ensure that IAM solutions align with organizational goals and enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience documenting business processes and technical specifications in cybersecurity or identity management contexts.

Key Responsibilities:

Elicit, analyze, and document detailed IAM business and system requirements.

Develop user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams to support Agile development processes.

Work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure accurate implementation of IAM solutions.

Conduct gap analyses and impact assessments to inform solution recommendations.

Provide ongoing support and subject matter expertise during all project phases.

Ensure clear documentation and communication of business requirements to all stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

At least 5 years of experience in IT business analysis

At least 2 years of experience focused on IAM or cybersecurity

Bachelor's degree in Business Analysis, Information Technology, or related field

Current Public Trust or higher level government clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

CBAP or PMI-PBA certification preferred

Location: This role can be performed remotely but occasional team meeting are possible so preference will be given to applicants who are local to the DC Metro area.
