Job Title: District Sales Manager – NYC

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic District Sales Manager to lead and grow our PEO product and service offerings in the New York City market. This role focuses on developing new clients, managing referral relationships, and driving profitability within the PEO Sales organization.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of sales professionals and execute sales strategies under the guidance of senior Sales Management to achieve and exceed quota targets.

Leverage the Go-to-Market Sales Strategy to identify customers’ needs and deliver tailored PEO solutions to key stakeholders and decision-makers, either in person or virtually.

Schedule and conduct meetings with potential and existing referral partners, with a focus on the broker channel, to secure high-quality referrals.

Identify and prospect for new clients and referral opportunities outside the existing customer base through phone outreach, direct mail campaigns, seminars, and client meetings.

Analyze client needs to recommend appropriate PEO solutions and collaborate with internal sales partners to ensure exceptional client satisfaction.

Manage the end-to-end client onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition to PEO services and resolving any challenges to deliver an exceptional experience.

Submit accurate business paperwork, expense reports, and weekly activity updates in accordance with Sales Management timelines.

Represent the organization positively to clients, referral partners, and the community to maximize sales opportunities and market visibility.

Conduct partner meetings to educate on PEO services, processes, and value propositions.

Maintain and continually develop technical, competitive, and professional sales skills to remain an effective leader within the PEO Sales organization.

Travel as needed within the NYC territory and occasionally outside the region for conferences, trainings, and company meetings.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales or sales management experience required.

5+ years of proven experience in PEO and/or HCM

Ability to build and maintain relationships with referral partners, brokers, and clients.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a competitive environment.

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Flexibility to travel within the NYC area and occasionally beyond for business purposes.
