Monday-Friday, 2:30pm-11:00pm

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machines used in the production of heavy-duty wet cloth products. Your attention to detail, efficiency, and safety practices will ensure the smooth operation of the production line. This position requires a proactive approach, a deep understanding of machinery, and the ability to troubleshoot when necessary.

Training is on first shift, 6:30a-4:30p, and the pay is $21.00/hr for 2 months

What you’ll be doing:

Operate and monitor machinery involved in the wet cloth manufacturing process

Ensure production targets are met while maintaining product quality standards

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning and inspecting machines to ensure optimal functionality

Monitor machine performance, identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions quickly and efficiently

Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment

Document production data and machine performance

Troubleshoot production issues and work with the team to find solutions

Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals

Who we’re looking for:

Proven experience in operating machinery, preferably in manufacturing or textiles (wet cloth experience a plus)

Strong mechanical aptitude with a good understanding of machine operations

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions

Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products

Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in a manufacturing environment

Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Knowledge of lean tools such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Breakdown Analysis (BDA), Cleaning Inspecting Lubricating Tightening Standards (CILT), 5 Why Analysis, and Fishbone Diagrams
