HR Generalist (Friday- Monday)
Location: Tacoma, WA [Site A] and Seattle, WA [Site B] Travel Required
Schedule: Friday through Monday (Full-Time, 4-Day Workweek)
Reports to: Sr. HR Manager
We’re looking for a Bilingual (English/Spanish) HR Generalist to provide on-site HR support across two job sites. This unique Friday–Monday schedule is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys a hands-on role in recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. Travel between sites is required to ensure consistent HR presence and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly and salaried roles.
Create job postings, source candidates, screen resumes, and schedule interviews.
Attend local hiring events and develop pipelines for future talent needs.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing priorities.
Onboarding and New Hire Integration
Conduct new hire orientations and ensure completion of onboarding documentation.
Coordinate IT, payroll, and operational onboarding steps.
Serve as a key point of contact during employees’ first days.
Employee Relations & HR Support
Provide on-site support for employee questions, concerns, and conflicts.
Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
Support investigations and documentation of policy violations.
Assist with performance counseling and corrective action processes.
Additional Duties:
Maintain and update employee records and HRIS.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
Assist in HR projects, employee engagement efforts, and weekend support needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
2–4 years of HR generalist experience, including recruiting and employee relations
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple locations.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (travel required).
Bilingual in English/Spanish required.
