Asset Liability Management Specialist, who is responsible for the regular valuation reporting for ALM reports and compliance (such as ALM reports, liquidity reports, FX reports, etc) including analysing and managing financial risks on each key ALM metrics.
This role involves analyzing insurance risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide actuarial insights for decision-making.
Preferred skills
Proficiency in Actuarial Software (AXIS preferred), Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access
Basic programming language skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
In-depth understanding of actuarial reserve methodologies (both IFRS 4 and IFRS 17) and relevant solvency capital requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
Minimum of 2 years experience in actuarial industry / fields
Progress towards or completion of professional actuarial qualifications (ASAI preferred)
Responsibilities
Conduct regular asset-liability analyses & risk metric optimization, as well product & market monitoring to assess and manage financial risks
Prepare ALM risk metrics reporting such as ALM report, liquidity report, FX report, etc
Prepare ALM Committee (ALCO) meeting, Investment Driver of Earning (DOE) and Market Sensitivity report and present it to senior management
Contribute in new product review to ensure the product risk is still within Company appetite
Collaborate with other related department such as actuarial, investment, finance, accounting, etc to for effective ALM strategies
