About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with a proven ability to lead and mentor a small but growing team of engineers while driving key projects forward in a fast-paced environment in developing, maintaining, and advancing our gas detection technologies. The ideal candidate is an experienced engineer with a strong background in software, firmware, or database development and will serve both as a hands-on technical contributor and an effective team manager.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead and manage a growing engineering team providing guidance, support, and career development.
Oversee project execution from concept through launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions with a stage-gate process.
Collaborate closely with the Management team on new product development and future product strategy.
Provide engineering expertise to develop new products and services and improve existing products and manufacturing processes.
Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices, tools, and processes.
Ensure product compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory standards.
Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Quality, and Operations to meet customer and business needs.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field);
Minimum 10 years of engineering experience within a technology company or a similar industry (e.g., industrial safety, sensors, or chemical detection).
At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
Strong understanding of software, firmware, cloud-based database development; or electronic hardware.
Excellent project management, communication, and team leadership skills.
