What You'll Do?
* Design and manage the structural engineering of mid-rise residential buildings across NYC
* Lead coordination with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and DOB
* Produce detailed calculations, drawings, and documentation
* Support construction administration: site visits, RFIs, and submittal reviews
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design standards and quality control
* Ensure compliance with NYC Building Code and relevant local regulations
What We're Looking For?
* 6-10 years of structural design experience in NYC, ideally with new construction residential or mixed-use buildings
* Solid understanding of NYC DOB processes, zoning, and code compliance
* Demonstrated experience designing with concrete, steel, and wood
* Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York is preferred
* Strong communication and team leadership abilities
* Experience with the following software is highly preferred: ETABS, SAFE, RISA, AutoCAD and/or Revit (Experience with most of the above is ideal)
