Summary:
Operations System Administrators are part of the Deposit Operations department and provide a wide range of support to many other First State Bank departments. This position is responsible for administering systems specific to our core software, processing critical files each day, and performing Deposit Account audits and maintenance.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Software administrators for the following systems:
Silverlake
Synapsys
Synegry
Cognos
HC3
4Sight
Process ACH files
Manage the relationship between the bank & our 3rd party processor (Outlink)
Manage statement production with our 3rd party provider
Enter rate changes into core platform
Cross-train to audit deposit accounts and perform maintenance
Other Job Duties
Perform annual release efforts surrounding systems listed above
Manage tax document & file production with our 3rd party provider
Prepare documentation for audits & exams
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Previous bank experience is preferred, or 3-5 years related experience or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Customer and Personal Service -- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
English Language -- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
Mathematics -- Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
Effective interpersonal relationships with management and team members;
Ability to perform tasks quickly and accurately;
A thorough understanding and application of all policies, procedures and regulations pertaining to the work of a Deposit Operations Specialist;
Ability to operate in a team environment to accomplish shared goals;
Ability to effectively manage time as related to daily tasks;
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form; and
Ability to prioritize multiple demands in a high pressure environment while maintaining professional demeanor.
