Duties
Lead a team of 2-6 Warehouse Management Software (WMS) Software Developers. Serve as a technical subject matter expert while also optimizing project development and implementation tasks to ensure delivery of functional software based on customer needs. Manage assigned project workloads and work processes for the team by organizing and prioritizing the work to be developed to achieve the product objectives and needs for the customer. Train, evaluate, and validate that all team members have a detailed understanding of Mecalux Software Solution’s development methodology to perform the tasks assigned to assure quality and delivery on-time. Plan out design options to test for the team. Configuration and documentation of the WMS software for each project, based on the provided technical documentation. Development of customizations in the WMS software for each project, based on the provided technical documentation. Preparation and configuration of the WMS software host server. Testing and providing support for communication integration between the WMS software and client systems and/or any third-party software. Management of all software bugs found per project (creation of tickets, follow-up, solution implementation, and documentation). Creation of training presentation slides and materials for the WMS software per project, & Client training on the WMS software. On-site testing between the WMS software and Mecalux automation components. On-site implementation of the WMS software at the client’s warehouse. Providing on-site and off-site support to the customer after WMS software implementation during the client stabilization period. 30% national travel required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related plus 2 years of experience in architecting, designing, and developing Warehouse Management Software; 2 years of experience deploying WMS software in manual and automated warehouses; 2 years of experience performing WMS user-case testing in manual and automated warehouses; 2 years of experience developing XML communications between WMS-ERP & WMS-Third Party Software; 2 years of experience developing Web Service communication between WMS-ERP & WMS-Third Party Software.
Salary: $139,901 per year plus standard company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance; long term disability, Basic Life/AD&D, Additional Life AD&D & Dependent Life Insurance, short-term disability; 401(k); and paid time off and holidays.
