Job Summary
The Senior Application Developer leverages a strong knowledge of programming languages and source codes to create innovative solutions and products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Utilize structured programming techniques to deliver a high-quality product
Lead evaluation and analysis of data related to application development in order to improve performance of future versions.
Establish budgets and team performance benchmarks and ensure compliance with said guidelines.
Track, organize, and accurately document changes made to programming code.
Gather input from users and various departments to direct development enhance final product.
Mentor and advise junior developers.
Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field or equivalent technical or professional experience
Experience
Minimum of five (5) years progressive application design or programming experience
Minimum two (2) years mortgage experience
Functional/Technical Skills
Technical Skills:
Languages: C#, JavaScript, Java, HTML5, CSS3
Databases: Microsoft SQL Server (Stored Procedures, SSIS)
IDE: Microsoft Visual Studio, Eclipse
Scripting: jQuery, JavaScript, HTML Document Object Model
Source Control: Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Serena Dimensions
Essential Skills:
Experience with object-oriented design and development
In-depth knowledge of JavaScript using the HTML Document Object Model
Experience with Web Services and integration
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Effective written and spoken communication skills.
Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Additional Skills:
Experience in the mortgage industry is a plus
