Key Responsibilities:

Support secure system development: Work closely with the staff to identify, assess, develop, test, deploy, and maintain technical systems using COTS, GOTS, and Open-Source resources

Assess cybersecurity needs: Collect and evaluate the online network and cybersecurity requirements

Deploy tailored solutions: Develop and implement customized online network and cybersecurity solutions

Ensure compliance: Partner with the team to complete approval requirements and maintain compliance throughout the technical lifecycle

Engage in cybersecurity discussions: Participate in working groups focused on cybersecurity issues, collaborating with IT security professionals and leadership

Train personnel: Document and train team members on the effective use of online network and cybersecurity solutions

Maintain system integrity: Ensure the stability, integrity, availability, and privacy of deployed cybersecurity solutions

Work Environment:

Location: On-site

Travel Requirements: Moderate 20-50%

Working Hours: Standard and On-Call

Qualifications:

Required:

Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Experience: Minimum of 10 years

Experience with security-controlled systems: Demonstrated experience with security-controlled systems, software, and data architecture

Experience with A&A processes: Demonstrated experience with Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes to accredit security-controlled systems

Data transfer officer experience: Demonstrated experience as a data transfer officer with security-controlled systems

AWS Cloud Engineering: Demonstrated experience with Amazon Web Services Cloud Engineering, Development, and Administration

Data-intensive applications: Demonstrated experience designing, building, and maintaining data-intensive applications and architecture

Software development experience: Demonstrated software development experience, including C#, C++, Python, and other system and application programming languages

Web application development: Demonstrated experience with designing, developing, and maintaining web applications utilizing Javascript, Javascript frameworks (such as React, VueJs or Angular), HTML5, CSS, and CSS frameworks (such as Bootstrap or Tailwind)

Development technologies: Demonstrated experience with development technologies including Git, Gitlab, and Docker supporting continuous integration and delivery of web applications and microservices

Software scripting: Demonstrated software scripting experience, including Python, BASH, and PowerShell

Database programming: Demonstrated database programming experience, to include Oracle and Microsoft SQL, PL/SQL scripts, and vendor APIs and XML and JSON data formats for Oracle Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)

Web services development: Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining complex web services for Linux and Windows servers

Lotus Notes development: Demonstrated experience with Lotus Notes software development including C/C++ APIs

Certificate management: Demonstrated experience with certificate management for users, servers, and anonymous services

Systems engineering and administration: Demonstrated experience with Windows and Linux systems engineering and administration

Cross-skilling and backfilling: Demonstrated experience cross-skilling and backfilling for teammates

Handling sensitive data: Demonstrated experience handling sensitive data, exercising discretion and sound judgment, and achieving mission outcomes

Desired:

Security-controlled systems: Demonstrated experience with security-controlled systems, software, and data architecture

Messaging systems: Demonstrated experience with legacy and next-generation messaging systems, including system protocols and APIs, along with message formats and schemas

A&A processes: Demonstrated experience with Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes

Data transfer officer: Demonstrated experience as a data transfer officer with security-controlled systems

IT Program Management: Demonstrated experience with IT Program Management and support
