Seeking CNC Lathe Operators in Broomfield - $20-$24/hour DOEPosition Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Lathe/Mill Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team in Broomfield, CO. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in producing high-quality components and are eager to contribute to the growth and success of our lathe department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical capabilities, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain two primary machines:
Okuma L250-2-E
Proteract 1630 SLX (CNC/manual hybrid lathe)
Perform independent machine setups and make programming adjustments directly at the control panel
Edit G-code to ensure optimal machining performance
Interpret technical blueprints and conduct hands-on inspections to verify part accuracy and quality
Prepare raw materials using manual bandsaws prior to machining
Troubleshoot machining issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Assume leadership responsibilities as needed to support departmental objectivesQualifications
Proven experience operating CNC lathes, including setup, programming, and troubleshooting
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
Familiarity with manual machining tools and bandsaws
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-precision components
Prior experience with Okuma lathes is highly desirableCore Competencies

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
