Job Title: CNC Machining Estimator
Job Description
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for understanding and analyzing component/part drawings and technical data to determine the most cost-effective production methods. You will calculate material and labor costs for each project, prepare quotes and estimates, and communicate with the sales team and customers to clarify project specifications and requirements. You will also work closely with the production team to ensure accurate and timely delivery and maintain accurate records of estimates, quotes, and project data.
Responsibilities
Analyze component/part drawings and technical data for cost-effective production.
Calculate material and labor costs for each project.
Prepare and present quotes and estimates.
Communicate with sales team and customers to clarify project specifications.
Collaborate with the production team for accurate and timely delivery.
Maintain accurate records of estimates, quotes, and project data.Essential Skills
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CNC machining processes.
Experience with CAD software including MasterCam and SolidWorks.
Proficiency in quoting and estimating software.
3+ years of experience in estimating/quoting in a CNC machine shop.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with exotic materials such as Inconel, Titanium, etc. is a plus.
Extensive knowledge of CNC machining processes and equipment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is a custom-run CNC job shop specializing in both short and long-run parts within the plastics and metal industries. The shop focuses on producing large plastic filtration parts for industrial applications and transforming prototypes into practical parts. It is a clean, well-lit facility with very low attrition, ensuring a stable and pleasant working environment.

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
