Job Description

Responsibilities
Operate sintering furnaces to process powdered metal parts according to production schedules.
Monitor furnace temperature, atmosphere, and cycle times to ensure optimal sintering conditions.
Load and unload parts from sintering trays and conveyors with attention to part orientation and spacing.
Inspect sintered parts for quality, including checking for warping, discoloration, or structural defects.
Record process data and maintain accurate production logs.
Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of sintering equipment.
Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE in high-temperature environments.
Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to troubleshoot and improve sintering processes.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.Essential Skills

Ability to read blueprints
Experience with powdered metal
General labor skills
Lathe and machine operating skills
Proficiency with calipers and micrometers

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled manufacturing/machine shop that is loud and dusty. Positions available on 3rd shift: Monday - Friday (11:45pm-9:15am).
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of DuBois, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
