We are seeking a skilled Mobile Software Engineer with at least four (4) years of working experience in Android Mobile development and program analysis to help develop solutions that provide actionable mobile security intelligence, enabling machine learning defenses against mobile and IoT vulnerabilities and exploits.

As aSenior Android Security Engineer, you will contribute to the development of automated analysis software for mobile applications. You will have the opportunity to influence key technical decisions, shape the development process, and make a meaningful impact on our products. This role offers exposure to advanced mobile security initiatives and the chance to expand your expertise in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Analyze business and technical requirementsto design and develop software applications.

Design, develop, and maintainhigh-performance Android applications using Java and/or C/C++.

Collaboratewith designers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.

Writeclean, efficient, and maintainable codewhile adhering to industry best practices.

Ensure thequality, performance, and responsivenessof applications through rigorous testing and optimization.

Identify and resolvebugs, performance bottlenecks, and other technical issues.

Participate incode reviewsand contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Build and enhance toolchainsthat streamline the automated analysis of mobile applications.

Mentor other engineersthrough code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance.

Collaborate with the team across projectsto identify development pathways and drive innovation.

Stayup-to-datewith the latest Android technologies, tools, and trends.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degreein Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Must be a US Citizen.

Demonstrated background in cybersecurity.

Minimum of four yearsof professional experience in Android application development.

Strong proficiencyin Java and/or Kotlin, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming.

In-depth knowledgeof the Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools.

Experience withRESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating web services.

Proficiency withversion control systems, such as Git.

Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Strong communicationand collaboration abilities.

Attention to detailand a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Preferred Skills

Experience withAgile development methodologies(e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

Knowledge ofsoftware design patterns(e.g., MVC, MVP, MVVM).

Familiarity withcontinuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)tools.
