Job Description:
The Executive Administrative Assistant will report directly to the Executive Director of OSU Health Plan. Primary responsibility will be to compose /draft letters, note cards and/or reports; tracks action items to assure follow up and follow through; coordinate complex and detailed calendars; arrange meetings, reservations, travel; assess issues directed to the Executive Director office and determine course of action and delegate to appropriate person for resolution; conceptualize, plan and direct activities to office management involving leadership directives; serve as liaison to executive sponsors, university officials, community leaders, and OSUHP Board of Directors (when it is in session), attends executive level and Board meetings; takes minutes, determines discussion items and prepares agendas. Serves as administrative support and liaison to the Director of Operations. Manages facility and human resources operations. Handles special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required.
2 years of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
2 years administrative experience supporting senior level leadership required.
Experience working in an academic medical center preferred.
Knowledge of spreadsheets, Kronos, Workday and PowerPoint desired.
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization including OSU Health Plan, OSUWMC and Office of Human Resources.
Ability to work independently on assigned projects.
Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate will be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
