Class A CDL Driver (Manual Transmission)

Thompson Industrial Services, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a dedicated Class A CDL Driver to join our safety-focused team! In this role, you will operate various equipment such as Roll Off Trailers and Dry Vans, while also performing physical labor duties. Your primary responsibility will be to manage customer environmental programs by safely transporting waste from client facilities to designated disposal sites. As a Class A CDL Driver, you will serve as a key point of contact for environmental and hazardous waste management.

WORK SCHEDULE: Rotating shifts, including days and nights. Overtime as needed.

BACKGROUND IN: Hydroblasting, Vacuum Trucks, Warehouse/Manufacturing, General Labor, or Industrial Fields is a plus but not required!

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a safety representative, ensuring adherence to safety policies and procedures for both the company and customers.

Operate vacuum and hydroblasting equipment safely and effectively.

Utilize specialized equipment, such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps.

Conduct pre and post-trip inspections, maintaining compliance with company vehicle policies and DOT regulations.

Engage in routine maintenance of equipment on-site.

Play a role in directing a crew of vacuum technicians as needed.

Comply with all operational standards to ensure quality service delivery.

Unload vacuum truck waste at designated dump sites.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license, CDL Class A or B, meeting all company driving policy requirements.

Smartphone required for electronic logging.

Experience operating a vacuum truck is advantageous.

Knowledge of emergency equipment operation, including fire extinguishers.

High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsements are preferred.
