Pay

$22.00/hr Starting; $24.11/hr After Completion of Level 1 (Around 90 Days)

Shift

3rd Shift; 6p-6a, 3 days one week and 4 days the next; includes every other weekend

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Exercise and promote safety

Read and understand hard card

Fill out hard card with accuracy

Understand required tools and how to use them

Inspect material

Load and unload oven cart

Understand how to use the transfer cart system

Understand how to move the carts in and out of the oven with or without a load

Understand how to use the TC wire

Set oven parameters in accordance with alloy temper requirements

Operate ovens with understanding of how to restart ovens after a power outage

Monitor operations of age cycles

Perform a variety of housekeeping tasks

Rack and unrack product

Document work on Age Oven logs

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Education: HS Diploma or GED

Minimum Experience: None

Certifications Required: Obtained during new hire orientation

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Communication Skills: Ability to effectively listen and communicate ideas and thoughts to others; able to assimilate ideas originated by others

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals

Reasoning Skills: Ability to carry out and communicate written and/or oral instructions

Physical Abilities: Regularly required to stand, walk and use hands; must be able to lift 50 pounds at any time during his/her shift; the physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job; reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions

Safety

All UAC employees must know and follow job safety procedures, attend required health and safety training, proactively promote safety at work, and promptly report actual and potential accidents and injuries. Employee must understand the PPE and wear it properly.
