The Opportunity
CACI is seeking a AI/ML Cyber Security Research Engineer specializing in AI/ML security and compliance. Responsibilities:
Conduct advanced technology research to identify and assess vulnerabilities in AI/ML systems
Develop and implement secure software and systems engineering practices for AI/ML applications
Lead AI/ML Risk Management Framework (RMF) System Security Plan (SSP) authorizations
Manage AI/ML services contracts and configurations
Perform comprehensive security reviews for AI/ML requests and implementations
Bridge the gap between innovative AI/ML solutions and stringent security requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and security in AI/ML projects
Qualifications:
Required:
Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
8+ years of experience in technology research, including cyberspace system vulnerability evaluation and network analysis (B.S. degree can substitute for 4 years)
Proven experience with AI/ML RMF SSP authorization
Expertise in AI/ML services contracts and configurations
Proficiency in conducting AI/ML request security reviews
2+ years of experience working with IA Products and/or Key Management Products and Solutions
2+ years of Intelligence Community experience in network and vulnerability analysis
Compliance with DoD 8570-M, IAT Level 1 certification requirements
Desired:
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
Additional certifications in AI/ML or cybersecurity
Experience with emerging AI/ML technologies and security frameworks
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication abilities to convey complex technical concepts
Passion for staying current with the latest AI/ML security trends and best practices

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is: $94,400 - $198,200
