Job Description

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Receptionist to provide exceptional service and maintain high customer satisfaction in a fast-paced pet care environment. The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task, prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and perform well under pressure. This role involves interacting with pet owners, handling inquiries, and addressing issues related to their pets while ensuring a positive and supportive experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, text, or in-person. Provide information on our services and resolve general concerns.

Manage and update pet owner records, including vaccination documentation and boarding/daycare details, ensuring all information is accurate and current.

Assist in feeding dogs in daycare or boarding, following all guidelines for their care.

Maintain a clean and organized lobby area, including cleaning floors nightly, ensuring the retail space is tidy, and displaying products attractively.

Conduct facility tours for clients, showcasing our services and amenities.

Promote and recommend products and services to clients to generate additional sales and enhance their experience.

Handle customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally, using your problem-solving skills to ensure resolutions are achieved.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Dog care experience is a plus, but not required).

Strong phone etiquette and active listening skills.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and ability to make decisions under pressure.

Additional Skills/Competencies:

Technical proficiency with software systems.

Strong customer service orientation.
