Manager, Ontology & Data Modeling

The Manager of Ontology & Data Modeling leads the development, implementation, and governance of enterprise ontologies to support data strategy and business outcomes.

Collaborates across business units and technology teams to create domain ontologies and integrate semantic technologies into products and services.

Defines problems, develops roadmaps, and leverages industry standards (RDF, OWL, SKOS) to enhance data models and knowledge organization.

Supports emerging semantic programs, advocates for best practices, and maintains awareness of industry trends.

Leads teams in creating reusable, resilient data models, manages stakeholder relationships, and communicates the value of semantic solutions.

Ensures alignment with architecture vision, contributes to standards, and mentors junior staff.

Requires 4+ years in ontology, semantics, or related fields, expertise in W3C standards and tools, and strong communication skills.
