CW Tampa Bay On-Air and Social Content Creator

We’re seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented CW Tampa Bay On-Air and Social Content Creator to join our team. This role is pivotal in shaping the on-air and digital presence of the CW Tampa Bay through compelling and creative content. You’ll be responsible for producing a wide range of branded content, ensuring our messaging is timely, engaging, and aligned with our station’s brand.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Production

Write, produce, shoot, and edit high-impact promotional spots and branded content.

Collaborate with the marketing team and team to conceptualize and execute image campaigns, topicals, and special projects with a focus on local news and weather.

Develop content that aligns with the CW Tampa Bay’s brand for on-air and social platforms.

Maintain a variety of projects and work with varying production styles.

Set up shoots and oversee content creation from start to finish.

Core Responsibilities

Manage Daily Logs: Prepare and finalize daily on-air logs for the CW Tampa Bay.

Produce Episodic Content: Edit and manage promos for syndicated and local shows.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience producing promotional, commercial, or short-form content.

Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a broad understanding of marketing and design.

Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Understanding of social media trends and social content.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Audition); experience with DSLR cameras and lighting equipment is a plus.

Concept of logs and on-air scheduling with Wide Orbit is a plus.

Knowledge of virtual production workflows is a bonus.

Occasional nights and/or weekends may be required.

Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
